Recently Kiwie Dan modeled and revealed a new design she entitled “Ankara Insanity Dress.”

What started off as a hobby for an 8 year old girl with a passion of making clothes for her dolls, has evolved into a fashion line, Kiwie Dan Couture. Kiwie Dan is no longer the 8 -year old girl who would make her own outfits to wear to Sunday School in her tropical island in the Caribbean.
Her brand has grown on the island by word of mouth. This self-motivated fashion designer has her own way of doing things. Customers give her an idea of what they want, she consults with them and then comes up with a master-piece. “Sometimes, I look at a piece of fabric and come up with a design. Some people do sketches and then look for material that would go well with the sketch. I am different. I have to see the fabric first, and then I come up with a design,” she adds.
